“O Brasil está ganhando mercado nos Estados Unidos e se posicionando muito bem”, afirma Abrão Neto, CEO da Amcham Brasil. Ele também ressalta que as exportações de bens industriais, que atingiram o recorde de US$ 31,6 bilhões, são um vetor de crescimento, gerando renda e empregos no país.De acordo com ele, o país da América do Norte já é o principal destino de bens brasileiros com maior agregação de valor, o que reafirma a relevância da parceria comercial.De acordo com ele, o comércio bilateral entre as nações, que somou US$ 80,9 bilhões em 2024, o segundo maior valor da série histórica, reflete a relevância da relação entre os países.Contudo, o relatório da entidade destaca que a posse do presidente eleito Donald Trump, marcada para a próxima segunda-feira (20), traz um cenário de incertezas para 2025, com possíveis mudanças na política comercial do país, incluindo a introdução de tarifas.O cenário internacional está carregado de incertezas, com disputas geopolíticas, guerras e possíveis mudanças na política tarifária dos Estados Unidos. Embora o Brasil não seja um alvo preferencial, como a China, qualquer ajuste na política comercial pode impactar setores estratégicos, como já aconteceu com o aço no passado”, pondera Abrão Neto.As projeções da Amcham indicam que o fluxo comercial Brasil-Estados Unidos se manterá robusto em 2025, próximo aos picos da série histórica.
A estimativa tem lastro em relatórios da Organização Mundial do Comércio (OMC), que prevê um crescimento de 3% no comércio global, enquanto o Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI) estima avanços de 2,8% no Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) dos Estados Unidos e de 2% no do Brasil, ambos impulsionando a demanda por comércio exterior.Do lado empresarial, a relação entre os dois países é consolidada, madura e pragmática. A expectativa é de que eventuais discordâncias sejam resolvidas por meio de diálogo e diplomacia, preservando os avanços econômicos alcançados nos últimos anos”, destaca o executivo.
Agro e indústria do Brasil na dianteira Os setores de agropecuária, indústria extrativa e de transformação devem continuar liderando o crescimento das exportações brasileiras para os Estados Unidos, prevê a Amcham.
De acordo com a Câmara, produtos como petróleo bruto, aeronaves, café e carne bovina, que já se destacaram em 2024, têm potencial para seguir contribuindo para a pauta exportadora.
